OUR STORY
Those of you who know me will understand when I say our kitchen table is the "hub" of activity and continues to be so. This time for a different reason altogether, bouncing ideas, choosing fabric, laying patterns, pinning, tacking, cutting, stitching and creating "GillyBear" bears. Each one is carefully handmade with a variety of mohair, cashmere, cotton fibre for stuffing and steel balls for weight. Glass eyes and an embroidered nose and paws. Taking on a unique character of their very own as they grow!
Most importantly I am able to enjoy creating my "GillyBear" with the huge help and support of my family (Roger with tricky joints and lovely photos) in the comfort of our kitchen.
